With Shama stuck in bed and unable to enjoy the Christmas decorations in the rest of the house, I decided to bring Christmas to him! We set up the table in his and Naira's bedroom and I cooked chicken and rosemary potatoes and other veggies (English Sunday lunch- new concept for the Georgians!) and we ate together with Georgian wine; me, Dima, Naira, Sham, Tsira (Shama's sister) and Nicole. Then came the present-giving. Dima loved all his new clothes and socks (hey- he genuinely needed socks!... though perhaps not so many!); Naira was over-teaed!!! A very warm and satisfying Christmas Day!
