Good evening. Just a quick update (photos to follow tomorrow). I'm up to 33 hours of teaching a week, though happily still with two mornings off plus Sunday free. I don't like working Saturday but I really have no choice! All the students are fantastic. As I said before, it's mainly one-to-ones and mainly teenagers (there are few parents who are willing to let their sons / daughters join a group- preferring the one-to-one option) and I've found I'm greatly in demand here (being British and female- don't take that the wrong way; I mean it as in most parents like the idea of their kids being taught by a woman rather than a man!). Busy weekend this last one: on Saturday I worked from ten to two, then at five we went to have a very nice dinner (and lots of vodka- they like their toasts, these Georgians!) at David and Ninos'. Both speak very good English and their eight-month-old son Alex is adorable. On Sunday we went with Dima's friend Caja to a HUGE car market to shop for a car. We've secured a VW Golf (1997) and I'll post a pic when we've got it. After the market we picked up David and Nino and went over to Dima's other life-long friend's - Giorgi's- for his birthday party. There were twenty of us and when we arrived the table was creaking under the strain of so much food!!! I think I can safely say I've tried most Georgian dishes now (being an English guest I was 'obliged' to try everything offered to me- it's ettiquette here...but it's starting to play hazzard with my waistline!!)! I must say I do love Georgian food! And wine. :-) We stayed there eating and chatting and singing until late before heading home. I had an early start at work today but managed to disguise my tiredness admirably, I think!!!

Every day continues to be a new experience and I hope it continues that way cos I'm lovin' it!
Hope you are all well. Missing you.
