Last weekend

Nothing much to report from last weekend... except a huge nation-wide party to celebrate St George's Day! Sadly, a relative of the family's died last week and his funeral was last weekend. The Othodox funerals are very beautiful- incense, chanting, everyone holding candles... and the churches here are so beautiful- many of them painted floor to ceiling with pictures of the many saints they have here. I went out with Nicole on Saturday night and on Sunday Dima and I spent the day (yes, the whole day!) at a Georgian restaurant with friends. In the evening there was live traditional singing and amazing food! No photos this time though :-( Love to you all xxx
