Our Tsavkisi house. You can see the computer vision (Picture 3) of how our house will look and also the ground and first floor.
On the ground floor (Second Picture)you enter from the right into a small hall, turn left into the office/spare room, right into the living room or go straight on and either up the spiral staircase or into the downstairs toilet. Going into the livingroom there is a huge window looking towards distant Tbilisi, a fireplace, then the open dining-room/kitchen. The diningroom opens onto a terrace and the kidney-bean shape you can see is our planned mini-pool for soaking away the hot humid city days!
Going up the spiral stairs (Picture 1) you come to a small hall, turn left into the "kids" room, go straight ahead into the bathroom or turn right into our bedroom which is divided into wardrobe area and bed-only area. Our bedroom opens on to a 4m2 balcony in the style of the balconies on old Tbilisi buildings (you can't really see it on the computer image, sadly, but google Old Tbilisi and you'll see the kind of thing I'm thinking of! We are planning to make the big area of roof on this floor (between the two bedrooms) into a terrace (to do so now would raise the price to pay) and the architects have designed the structure to accomodate this future plan. The terrace will overlook Tbilisi.
The whole house is 110m2 with 550m2 of garden. A nice size for us (and we can extend), though small compared to the millionaire houses being built around us- we'll be living in the Truman Show with the elite of Tbilisi! Lol
